Warranty Policy

SCANGEN FOR 2 YEARS (1+1) EXTENDED WARRANTY POLICY FOR GENERATING SET  POWERED BY SISU and SCANIA ENGINE

The main objective of this arrangement is to enhance the product creditability for the SCANIA and  SISU engine powered SCANGEN generating set and to make a distinction above the other market players.

a) Introduction of systematic preventive maintenance for the Scangen products in three  different operation load criteria.
b) The systematic scheduled servicing, monitoring and performance logging system for the  selected operational rating is to ensure proper maintenance program in order to achieve  optimum performance of generating set within rated performance.
c) Pre-selection on the service parts kits and servicing program packages for required power  application of the generating set. Applicable in monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually  packages to ensure the validity of the extended 1 year warranty program.
d) Pre-selection and approval of the certified lubricating oil and diesel grade used on the  Scangen generators. To maintain performance and proper application on the generators.
e) Maximize maintenance support to customers through distributors and dealers monitoring  generating set performance by data logging, studying and analyzing the generators  operational behaviors and performance.
f) Effectively pursue the service maintenance contract for the generating sets after the  warranty period via distributors and dealers networks through competitive pricing and good  after sales support.
g) Encourage use of original spare parts and professionally trained personnel servicing the  product to maintain quality and image of Scangen generating sets in the market.
h) Develop a new concept of personal service relationship with the end user of Scangen to  maintain good performance of the products through regular preventive maintenance  program.
i) Through the extended warranty program, SCANGEN develops in synergy with SCANIA and  SISU distribution networks in the region to enhance co-operation in the business both for  sales and service support.
j) Create new perspective of competition for our new products in the power generating  industries in order to have distinction in the product quality and after sales service support  through the distribution networks.
